Come unwind in this 2 hour Yin class! Yin Yoga is a quiet, meditative style of Yoga which has transformative effects on the body and mind.
In this class we will focus on the slow gentle opening of the fascia – the connective tissue under the skin which wraps around the muscles and holds the body together.
Over time, chronic stress tightens the fascia causing inflexibility, which causes tension in the body and inhibits energy flow. During our time together, we will explore postures which open the hips, hamstrings, shoulders and low back. This calming style of Yoga brings long-term health to the body, flexibility to the joints, recharges the energy body and naturally draws the mind inward to a more peaceful, relaxed state. In other words, two hours of pure bliss!!
