Tara has had a love for the body in motion for many years. She’s had a passion for dance over four decades, as well as ZUMBA for over ten years. She knew something was missing in her life and quickly realized that it was Yoga.
The game changer for Tara was seeing others in her family struggle with obesity, heart failure, diabetes and high blood pressure. She knew that creating a healthier and more holistic lifestyle was not only necessary for herself, but her family and community as well.
Tara completed her 200 hour Teacher Training in 2020 under the excellent teaching of Dr. Lisa Mitchell at Dana Hot Yoga. In her personal practice, Tara loves being encouraging, sharing inspirational quotes, leads with clarity and focus. You’ll find Tara’s style to be both athletic and graceful.
Tara is very active in her community, teaching Bible Study to younger women, leading free Yoga classes to her church community, and serves as the President over the parent’s association at Phil-Mont Christian Academy, where her son attends school. Tara is married with one son (and a daughter in Heaven). Tara loves the beach and dancing every chance she gets.
