Chelsea is an old soul, with a child like spirit, on a mission to bring more love and empowered transformation to the world. As an eating disorder survivor & someone who has overcome other addictive behaviors, Chelsea has experienced first hand, the “darkness” one can fall into as a human, and has done immense healing work within herself to bring harmony to her struggles, and find a safe home within herself. The principles of yoga, and the art of movement, have played both a powerful, catalyzing role, and an integrative role in her healing journey. Her wounds have become her wisdom & her pain has become her purpose; her personal experience has lead her to be a guide for others through their own journey in coming home to their true selves, and finding safety within. Yoga is one beautiful facet of that! Outside of yoga class, she facilitates workshops, women’s circles, is a reiki practitioner & works 1:1 with others as a transformational coach. She loves writing, art, warm drinks, cozy blankets, her dog lily, laughing, listening to music and playing music, the wind & dancing!
Chelsea has taught movement classes for over four years, has completed two 200hr yoga teacher trainings, and is certified as a 200 hour trauma-informed yoga instructor. She is passionate about using yoga asana as a tool to feel, to connect to the self, to regulate the nervous system, to get into & listen to the body, to access presence, and cultivate a deeper sense of self trust and safety through the process.
Chelsea’s hope is that you leave her class, one step more connected to yourself (whatever that means for you!), in the remembrance that you are enough (& if not, that’s beautiful and okay too <3).
