Whether you are new incorporating breath work into your practice or not this workshop will introduce you to or reacquaint you with the foundations of pranayama. Covered in Pranayama 1 will be background and basic philosophy of pranayama, why we use pranayama to accompany yoga and meditation, and 3-4 basic pranayama techniques.
The class will end with asanas that integrate the studied breathing techniques. After Pranayama 1 the yogi should feel confident with the practice of basic pranayama during their yoga and meditation practices.
