I cannot say enough great things about Whole Body Yoga Studio. From Patty being a wonderful and kind instructor and owner to their beautiful space to the variety of classes that they offer, they truly are a great local business. Definitely check them out, because they offer classes for every level and every student can appreciate all they have to offer at an affordable rate.

Whole Body Yoga Studio is pleased to announce an upcoming Workshop for Stress and Anxiety relief. Join Yoga Therapist Andrea Pace for this 90 Minute workshop on healing the body and mind through Yoga Therapy modalities. 

During Andrea’s Yoga Teacher training she was fascinated by the therapeutic side of yoga and how the body, mind connection would help ease suffering. It was no surprise that Yoga Therapy would be her next level of training. After working with a Yoga Therapist to heal her own injuries she quickly saw the benefits of this healing modality. Andrea is very passionate about Yoga Therapy and now incorporates these principles into her weekly
classes. Yoga Therapists use Yoga Modalities such as Breath work, Asana, and Meditation to allow students to ease their suffering, both physically as well as emotionally. 

We are excited to offer this workshop on Sunday, June 9th at 10:00 am. We will explore ways of reducing stress and anxiety through the Yoga Therapy Model. Stress and Anxiety affect people in different ways including depression, weight gain, general malaise, and a sense of being overwhelmed, leading to many other health concerns. This workshop will help ease the tension felt in the body from stress and give you tools to incorporate in your daily yoga practice. Andrea’s hope is to help you create a more peaceful, balanced state of mind.

Join her on this journey of discussion, Asana practice, Breathing Techniques (Pranayana), Guided and Non-Guided Meditation, Restorative Asana (yoga postures) and A Guided Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep).
