    What does a private Yoga Therapy session look like?

    People learn to relieve and reverse various health challenges using breath work, gentle adaptive movement and relaxation techniques. Depending on the condition, Claire may ask for a note from your healthcare provider.

    Each session is 60 minutes. Claire carries out a clinical intake with an evaluation assessment first, followed by individually designed sessions to meet your needs.

    Our work together is a partnership with regular pre and post treatment reviews to find the best techniques that work for you.

    All supportive props will be provided by the studio – blanket, bolster, blocks, strap, chair.
    Please feel free to bring your own yoga mat and water bottle. Comfortable clothing must
    be worn.

    Who will be my Yoga Therapist at WBYS?

    Meet Claire Whittleston, Yoga Therapist, C-IAYT, E-RYT500, YACEP, BA (Hons)
    Claire is a certified clinical yoga therapist registered with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and a certified 500 hour Yoga Alliance teacher, working to bridge yoga and healthcare. Claire trained within a hospital setting in Michigan USA, undertaking extensive mentored training of clinical applications of yoga therapy. She offers private clinical yoga therapy sessions, specializing in oncology and respiratory lung disease.
