This review is for the Artisan Alley location. Parking around here is tough at first, until you realize you can park at the train station half a block away. The studio is located on the top floor, so a few flights of steps are required to reach it. The studio itself looks to be newly constructed, but not quite finished (the drywall doesn't go all the way to the ceiling). There are some cute touches to hide the exposed ceiling - drapery and white lights. The space is very big with a wall full of windows. The restrooms were probably shared with the other tenants on the floor and very dirty.
Patty's Hatha classes are a workout! My first class with her was after she finished teaching yoga to kids, so she seemed a bit tired and didn't help students out with their poses much. There were a lot of students in the class and many looked to need pointers. The second class with Patty was better, because it was a smaller class and she took the time to walk around and help us frequently. She also shared some essential oils with us at the beginning.
Jenni's hot vinyasa class was amazing. The class wasn't "heated", but the windows were left open on a hot day. She apparently has been working through the chakra system in her classes and focused on the sacral chakra for my class - so lots of core work. She was very spiritual and we chanted a mantra here and there on our exhales throughout the session.
